Steven M. Krause

Steven M. Krause was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1953 and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Detroit in 1975. After graduating from the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in Lansing, Michigan in 1978, Mr. Krause followed his father to “a great fishing spot” in Anderson, SC. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1978 and remained in Anderson as the area grew and flourished.

Mr. Krause currently practices in all Federal Courts, State Courts, and Administrative Tribunals. For over 25 years, his peers have honored Mr.Krause as a Martindale-­Hubbell AV Preeminent­-rated-attorney, the highest level of ability and ethics in law.

Mr. Krause and his wife celebrated 40 years together in 2015. They have three children and four grandkids. When he’s not working, Mr. Krause is spending time with family and tending cows on his farm, and if he has a bit of time left over, fishing.
